We make it simple
|
Once your are a client of ours, and you are ready to begin your Music Request List, you will go to the “Client Planning Section”, by clicking "Work on Your Forms", on the website. Then click on "Your Music List" to start compiling your music.
The search menu looks a little different here. You will have more options to choose from. This is where you enter how you want your request to appear on the music form.
When you search in this section, each song you look up will have these 3 options to select from: Must-Play, Play-If-Possible or Do Not Play.
TIP - How Many Songs: You can average about 15 songs per hour of play time. If your event is 4 hours long, that’s 60 songs. If one hour of that is cocktail/social hour and you “just want jazz or big band” and another hour is dinner time and you “just want contemporary dining music”, this leaves you with 30 songs. By the way, you will notice that each time you enter a song, it keeps a tally of used play time for you. The Request List will limit your Must Plays to 15 songs, Play-If-Possibles to 60 songs and your Do-Not-Plays to 10 songs. We recommend that you restrict your Do-Not-Plays only to songs that are inappropriate, such as past relationships (at a wedding) or something that reminds people of a funeral or a song that you just simply hate.
